Banana Raisin Loaf

We’ve all had banana bread, but have you had banana raisin bread? If it works with cookies, it works with bread. Super cool cutting board not included.

500 mL (2 Cups) All Purpose Flour
60 mL (1/4 Cup) Brown Sugar
5 mL (1 tsp.) Baking Powder
A Pinch of Salt
3 Ripe Bananas, Mashed
2 Eggs
80 mL (1/3 Cup) P28 Banana Raisin Spread
60 mL (1/4 Cup) Yogourt
60 mL (1/4 Cup) Vegetable Oil
125 mL (1/2 Cup) Chocolate Chips
125 mL (1/2 Cup) Chopped Walnuts


In a bowl, mix the flour with the sugar, the brown sugar, the baking powder and the salt.

In another bowl and with a whisk, blend the mashed bananas with the peanut butter, the eggs, the P28 Banana Raisin spread, the yogurt and the vegetable oil.

Pour the mixture into a pre-greased 9 x 5 bread pan and cook on the center-rack of the oven for 55 minutes. Let cool and serve.
